I’m grateful that Quinny & Hopper has been named to several state reading lists, and was picked up by Scholastic for its school newsletters and fairs in 2015. Featured in TIME magazine for Kids and nominated for a Beverly Cleary Children’s Choice Book Award, Quinny & Hopper is also a 2015 TLA Bluebonnet nominee, an OLA 2016 Sequoyah nominee, a 2016 Nutmeg nominee book, and 2016 Oregon Battle of the Books pick.
The absolutely highlight of my journey so far has been visiting with students across the country and sharing my passion for books. If you’d like to discuss an author visit to your school or group, email me via my contacts page. Typically I visit with students in grades 2-4, but my presentation is flexible for grades 1-5 and I’m happy to share my passion for storytelling with students of any age. I look forward to meeting many more young readers in 2016!
